TSNY COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES
Dear Members of the TSNY Community,
All staff, students, and guests are required to follow our safety protocols listed below while attending sessions or visiting our space.
- Provide proof of vaccination. Staff, students, and guests older than 5 years old are required to provide proof of vaccination in order to enter both our indoor and outdoor locations. Valid proof of vaccination includes photo ID (age 16+) AND a vaccination card, photo of vaccination card, digital record or app, or printed record from a vaccine provider. Proof of vaccination can be uploaded here: https://forms.gle/LGxf9zLxpfX2ZZjR9. We will ask to see a photo ID in person. Negative antigen, PCR, and/or antibody test results will NOT be accepted in place of vaccination status.
- Optionally wear a mask. Staff, students, and guests may wear a mask if they wish, but they are not required at this time. If someone would prefer that the instructors and students in their class wear masks, they can speak to the lead instructor or office attendant before the start of class.
- Use hand sanitizer often. All students and staff are encouraged to use available hand sanitizer upon entering the rig, before and after touching any equipment, and any other time staff requests it.
- Stay home if you are sick. Anyone who is experiencing COVID-like symptoms may not participate in class, regardless of vaccination status. We will offer a credit for anyone who needs to cancel a class due to COVID symptoms or exposure. You can always call or email the office if you need to reschedule due to illness or exposure (firstname.lastname@example.org or (773) 484‑8861).
TSNY continues to closely monitor updates and follow the guidelines put in place by Federal, State, and City government and health departments.
We are committed to keeping the rig a safe and healthy place for our flying family. We recognize that exercise is an important part of staying healthy, both physically and mentally, during stressful times like these, and will continue to be there for our community. Thank you for your patience and understanding. (TSNY Staff - February 28th, 2022)
